
You will recieve a delivery confirmation email via Checkout Google on Monday night. In the text of the email, we will give you a 2-hour time block that your order will be delivered. Our routing and our delivery estimate is determined by the volume of customer deliveries and location to the production kitchen. We encourage our customers to leave/purchase a freezer bag or cooler to receive their orders. However, we are happy to reschedule the delivery if you would rather receive the order in person. Yes! We provide the ice. The bags we buy and most coolers are designed to keep ice in them for days. We protect your food in the bags/coolers by using water resistant containers and plastic bags to set inside the ice. If you choose to use your own bag or cooler, please make sure it is big enough to contain your order safely and seal completely. We will do our best to set the bag in a shaded and hidden spot to protect from sun and theft. We are happy to leave it on the back porch if you instruct us to do so.

All the food is fully cooked. You have 5-7 days on your prepared food in proper refrigeration. Make sure your refrigerator temperature is set at 40 degrees or below. Store all food in the refrigerator, unless instructed differently. Salads have a shorter shelf life. They are best if eaten 2-3 days from delivery. Croutons, breads, chips, nuts, and cookies can be stored at room temperature.

Sure! Most Vanilla Orchid food can be frozen. Make sure you wrap the food (well) with plastic wrap and secure the foil lid. You don't want any air to get in the food. Air=freezer burn.... A good rule of thumb. It can be stored in the freezer for up to 6 months, but you should eat it way before that! When reheating, thaw the food in the refrigerator two nights before cooking. If reheating from frozen, double the cooking time. I suggest you get a cooking thermometer. Food is properly reheated when internal temperature of the food reaches 180 degrees in the center. (Not oven temperature... the temperature of the food!)
